cobra for sale The bike is located in west central Illinois.
My Belgium made Cobra low racer. Front wheel drive. It has a mountain bike 9 speed cassette 70 tooth chain ring and 406x28 tires. Custom wheels with narrow hubs.
Pretty good visability nice aero shape.
Here it is with a varna overmolded shell. It fit but the seat was too low to see ahead.
During a training ride I came accross a set of railroad tracks that had a 10" wide gap and large offset. It cracked the carbon frame. The carbon in this area had little thickness and the plys were not that uniform.

I really loved riding the bike so I proceeded to rebuild it.

The crack was not through and through so Put on some angle iron between the wheels to make sure that they were in alignment. Roughly sanded the cracked area and built up several layers of carbon stepping them one inch larger with each layer. I then painted on epoxy and sewed a dacron sleeve peel ply over them and shrank it down. Just a light sanding as good as new.
I proceeded to ride and race the bike after that until I had unrelated health issues stopping me from riding recumbents.
